India clinched the One-day series by 4-1 against Australia and hosts are set to seal the T20 series now, however, Australia will look to bounce back and compensate an ODI loss.
The BCCI has made three changes in the T20 squad and as the formats changes. Many speculations have been made about the team, so let’s make an attempt at making today’s probable XI for the first T20 Internatinal in Ranchi.
Openers
Shikhar Dhawan
Being unavailable after the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka, Shikhar Dhawan is likely to make his comeback in the first T20 against Australia. Dhawan missed the ODI series against Australia to attend to his ailing wife but the kind of form he is in, no skipper will make him wait and he will straightaway make his appearance in the team.
Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma will be the 2nd opener for Saturday’s match and there is not much discussion over it. India’s vice-captain was the highest run scorer for the ODI series against the Kangaroos and he will be looking forward to continuing his HIT show in the T20s as well. Australia is well aware of the Rohit’s abilities and if they fail to get him out early, they will have to pay the heavy cost of it.
