Twitteratis reacts as MS Dhoni got out stumped for the first time in T20I

The domination of former India skipper MS Dhoni behind the stumps is known to all. Be it under-arm flicks without looking at the stumps or whipping off the bails in a flash, Dhoni has proved time and again that he is arguably the best glovesman in the business.

But, it is quite sporadic when an opposition wicket-keeper gives you a taste of your own medicine. Credit to the Australian spinner Adam Zampa as he managed to beat Dhoni in flight and the wicketkeeper-batsman was left clueless after he decided to step down the track.

The fans got to witness such a rare occurrence during the second T20 International between India and Australia on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old was stumped for the first time in his 80-match T20 International career.

Playing his 80th T20I, Dhoni walked down the track to hit Australia’s spinner Zampa but missed the ball completely. The ball spun a long way after pitching on the rough and Tim Paine, behind the wickets, collected the ball and whipped off the bails comfortably.

Twitter users had some amazing reactions on Dhoni being stumped. While some lauded Zampa for cleverly outfoxing Dhoni, others trolled the master for getting a taste of his own medicine.

Here are some of the Twitter reactions after Dhoni was stumped:
