Texas outclass Knight Riders with dominant all-round display
A brilliant all-round display from TSK powered them to a comfortable win in California. Batting first, the side suffered an early setback with the dismissal of their skipper, but a steady 57-run partnership off just 31 deliveries between Devon Conway and Saiteja Mukkamalla steadied the innings. Later, some explosive hitting from Donovan Ferreira helped push the total past the 180-run mark.
In response, LAKR struggled to get going with the bat. None of the batters could settle in or build meaningful partnerships, as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. The side was eventually got all out for just 124 runs, receiving them their second defeat of the season. With pressure mounting, LAKR will need to regroup quickly and come back stronger in the upcoming fixtures.
