But the highlight of their trip came when they visited the residence of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. The two actors were special guests at a Bengal Pro T20 League 2025 match, where they met Ganguly, who warmly welcomed them into his home. The legendary cricketer hosted them with heartfelt hospitality, leaving a lasting impression on the actors.

As per the video uploaded by ABP Ananda Tv on their Instagram page, Sara expressed her joy and gratitude following the visit to Ganguly’s home. She further said she was overwhelmed by how generously they were treated. Sara also thanked Sourav Ganguly for his warmth and kind hospitality, clearly touched by the experience. Sara’s infectious delight reflected how genuine and generous the former cricketer was in making his guests feel at home.

“Bohot acche se bohot pyaar se bata nahi sakte kitna khilaya, kya kya khilaya. Woh aloo kya tha? Fish bhi bohot accha tha. Thank you so much aapne itne warmth se hume treat kiya (I cannot tell how nicely and with love how much and what they made us eat. What was the potato? The fish was also very nice. Heartwarming memories and Pataudi cricketing legacy recalled

Beyond the food and warmth, Sara shared that the visit was made even more special by the stories Ganguly told her about her grandfather, Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, himself a former India captain  Ganguly reminisced about moments from the Pataudi family’s past, including a heartwarming anecdote about Sara’s grandmother following her grandfather’s team bus in a taxi—details even Sara hadn’t heard before.

“Woh toh hume chutkule suna rahe the humare dada ji ke bare mai. Itna accha laga unse milkar aur batein sunkar. (He was telling us jokes about my grandfather. It felt very good to meet him and hear from him). He was even telling me moments of my own grandparents’ love story that I did not know myself that how my dadi used to follow in taxis behind the buses that all the cricketers would go in. So it was really lovely to sit and hear from him,” Sara concluded.
