Ashwin, Bhuvi and Pandya trolled for their names in an American TV show

American television sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ trolled Indian cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya for the number of syllables in their name.

‘The Bing Theory’ is a popular show worldwide and is all about the four scientists including an Indian guy named Rajesh Koothrappali.

In one of the episodes of the show (Season 11), Rajesh takes his friend Howard Wolowitz at the screening of a cricket match.

Being an American, Wolowitz hardly had any knowledge about cricket and it seems like his Indian friend Rajesh doesn’t either.

Therefore, he hilariously takes a dig at the names of Indian cricketers.

The conversation between the two-

Koothrappali: That’s Ravichandran Ashwin, he is amazing. He makes Hardik Pandya look like Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Wolowitz: Wooah, wooah, wooah! Save syllables for the rest of us (laughter in background).
