India’s left-handed swashbuckling opener Shikhar Dhawan, on Tuesday, turned 32. He lit up his birthday with a gritty half-century on Day 4 of the third Test against Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, in Delhi.
But what made his birthday truly delightful was the celebration with his family.
He has posted a video of the same on his Twitter account showing him celebrating his birthday with wife Ayesha Mukherjee and kids Zoravar and Rhea.
In the video, Dhawan said, “It is lovely that my family is here and thanks to everyone for your wishes and support. It was a special birthday for me as my family is here and then I also played well on the field. Even the supporters at the stadium sang the birthday song for me. Thank you, everyone.”
