On the final day of the third Test match between India and Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi, India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bowled an absolute beauty to dismiss the Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal.
It was a flighted delivery from Ashwin and Chandimal (36) came down the track, looking to play it across to the leg-side but got an inside edge and the ball struck the top of the off-stump.
The former cricketers in the commentary box termed Ashwin’s delivery to Chandimal as the ‘Ball of the match’.
