Team India skipper Virat Kohli tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Anushka Sharma in a private wedding ceremony in Italy on December 11.
As soon as the news came out, various social media platforms got flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple. One of the special wishes to appear was from England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt.
Though ‘Virushka’ kept the entire occasion a hush-hush not talking about the details out in the open, it was widely reported and thus known to all. On Monday evening, hours after taking the vows a similar post appeared on Virat and Anushka’s profile announcing to the world that they are now married and looking forward to the exciting new phase of life with each other for company.

It was special not just because she is an overseas female cricketer but also since she was one among the millions of admirers of the Indian stalwart.
Wyatt apart from her all-round skills on the cricket field is famous amongst Indian fans for asking Virat to marry her. She went on to the extent of posting a tweet which read, “Kholi marry me!!!”
