Anushka Sharma responds to Rohit Sharma’s “keep the surname” tweet

Team India’s stand-in captain Rohit Sharma congratulated Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on their wedding which took place in Italy on December 11.

Rohit advised the Bollywood actress to keep her surname post-marriage via a tweet which he posted on December 12.

“Congratulations you two! Virat Kohli, I’ll share the husband handbook with you. Anushka Sharma, keep the surname”, Rohit tweeted.

The 30-year-old Mumbai lad is known for being vocal about ‘Married Life’ advice. In the previous occasion, Rohit tipped Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan on their weddings.

‘Virushka’ have been busy with their planned wedding, so Anushka Sharma reverted to Rohit’s tweet in a 2 days gap.

Anushka’s tweet read, “Hahaha thanks, Rohit! And congratulations on your splendid innings.”

After facing a humiliating defeat in the first ODI against Sri Lanka at Dharamsala, Rohit led the Indian team from the front and went on to score his third ODI double century in the second ODI at Mohali and helped his side to level the series 1-1. Anushka congratulated Rohit for his splendid innings.
