Facing seasoned bowlers like Navdeep Saini, the 17-year-old showed no hesitation. He started the third over with two consecutive fours off Saini, a lofted drive to deep extra cover and a spectacular step-out shot between extra cover and long-off, earning widespread applause.
His batting prowess wasn’t limited to pacers. He also took on spinner Raunak Waghela with confidence. A beautiful cut shot on the backfoot towards third man was followed by a stunning step-out shot that cleared the long-on region with ease. Central Delhi Kings register a dominant 62-run victory over East Delhi Riders
Following the explosive start from young Aryavir ,Central Delhi Kings maintained their momentum to post a formidable total of 155-6. The innings was anchored by a brilliant half-century from their middle-order batter Yugal Saini, who scored 52 runs from 32 balls, providing crucial stability after some early wickets. The team’s collective effort with the bat laid a solid foundation for their bowlers to defend.
In response, the East Delhi Riders’ never in the chase. They were completely dismantled by an outstanding bowling performance, spearheaded by Money Grewal, who took a superb five-wicket haul for just 23 runs, completely ripping through the opposition’s lineup. The rest of the bowlers, including Gavinsh Khurana and Tejas Baroka, offered excellent support, applying relentless pressure. The East Delhi Riders’ batting order crumbled, with only Akhil Chaudhary offering any notable resistance with a fighting 26. In the end, they were bundled out for just 93 runs,handing Central Delhi Kings a dominant 62-run victory.
