2.) 209 off 158 balls against Australia at Bengaluru, November 2, 2013
This Australia tour of India was flooded with runs, and it was the final match of the tour. Virat, Shikhar and Rohit were batting like never before, but this match belonged to the only Hitman show. Rohit shattered the Aussie attack and piled 209 runs to his name, the inning was studded 12 fours and 16 huge sixes. How often you see sixes more than fours? Very rare!
Rohit Sharma then became the third batsman to enter the narrow 200 runs club. Sachin Tendulkar broke the bubble of 200 and Sehwag followed the footsteps after a year. And it says that all three were Indians back then!
