Laura Marsh hilariously points out striking resemblance between Ellyse Perry and Stuart Broad

England and Australia teams are engrossed in an engaging battle during the ongoing Ashes. The Poms are fighting it out for their pride against the Aussies in the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

While the men’s team is busy in their rivalry, the cricketers of the women’s team seem to be having a friendly banter on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

England’s spinner Laura Marsh on Thursday took a hilarious dig at Australia women all-rounder Ellyse Perry.

Laura Marsh took to Twitter to post a picture that showed some striking resemblance between Ellyse Perry and England’s fast bowler Stuart Broad.

The entire episode was started off by Australian women wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy. She found an old picture of Perry and thought it was an ideal time to share the picture on social media.

Just as any ‘wicked good’ friend would do, Healy posted the picture on her Twitter in order to have a laugh about Perry’s younger days. She even added a caption that read, “Found your new profile pic.”

When Healy posted the picture, she didn’t think that she will end up getting the attention of other cricketers.

Member of ICC Women’s World Winning team, Laura Marsh was quick to see the picture. She had her own interpretations of the pic and hilariously responded back to Healy’s tweet with another pic.

She shared a picture in which Perry and Broad have given similar expressions. Both cricketers look almost identical in the comparison pic that Laura posted. Even Healy looked impressed with the comparison and had a good laugh about it in her response to the tweet with emojis.

Here’s how Laura Marsh trolled Ellyse Perry and Stuart Broad in a single tweet:
