Defending champions Mumbai Indians have retained their core players for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). The three-time IPL champions have retained skipper Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah as announced on their different social media platforms.

After being retained the trio expressed their excitement on the micro-blogging website Twitter. Hardik, Rohit and Bumrah are currently in South Africa for the upcoming series against the Proteas starting from January 5.
