IPL Auction 2018: Ben Stokes, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey Win Big

Ben Stokes was the star performer for the second consecutive year in the IPL auction as he was taken for Rs 12.5 crore by Rajasthan Royals.

The Indian players also had a field day, with Manish Pandey and KL Rahul going for Rs 11 crore each for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab respectively. Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan with 8.8 crore and 6.2 crore for Mumbai Indians were the star uncapped players on day 1.

The auction will continue on Sunday (January 28) where the other remaining players will be bid for and potentially retained in the auction.

  7. Rashid Khan: 9 Crore – Sunrisers Hyderabad
  8. Krunal Pandya: 8.8 Crore – Mumbai Indians
  9. Sanju Samson: 8 Crore – Rajasthan Royals
  10. Kedar Jadhav: 7.8 Crore – Chennai Super Kings
  11. Ravichandran Ashwin: Rs 7.6 Crore – Kings XI Punjab
  12. Chris Woakes: 7.4 Crore – Royal Challengers Bangalore
  13. Dinesh Karthik: 7.4 Crore – Kolkata Knight Riders
  14. Jofra Archer: 7.2 Crore – Rajasthan Royals
  15. Dwayne Bravo: 6.4 Crore – Chennai Super Kings
