IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils complete squad

Delhi Daredevils went into the auction after having retained three players namely Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Chris Morris. They used both their RTM options on world-class pacers – Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Shami.

Daredevils even managed to get back Gautam Gambhir for the upcoming IPL season. Along with Gambhir, DD bought a total of 22 players to complete their 25-man squad with eight overseas players.

List of players bought by Delhi Daredevils at the IPL 2018 auction:

  11. Daniel Christian – INR 1.5 crores
  12. Jason Roy – INR 1.5 crores
  13. Naman Ojha – INR 1.4 crores
  14. Prithvi Shaw – INR 1.2 crores
  15. Gurkeerat Singh Mann – INR 75 lakhs
  16. Avesh Khan – INR 70 lakhs
  17. Abhishek Sharma – INR 55 lakhs
  18. Jayant Yadav – INR 50 lakhs
  19. Harshal Patel – INR 20 lakhs
  20. Manjot Kalra – INR 20 lakhs
  21. Sandeep Lamichhane – INR 20 lakhs
  22. Sayan Ghosh – INR 20 lakhs

The 17-year-old Sandeep Lamichhane bought by Daredevils is the first ever Nepali player to be picked in the IPL auction.
