Chasing a 217 run total, Indian banked on Manjot Kalra’s magnificent unbeaten century well cushioned by the other three batsmen to lift the title.
India remained unbeaten in the tournament, as they were a dominant force going into the finals.
The Boys in Blue played a superb brand of cricket under the guidance of coach Rahul Dravid.
The former India skipper, who didn’t win a World Cup during his playing days looked thoroughly satisfied after India’s big victory in the final ODI.
