India comfortably defeated South Africa in the second ODI at Centurion by 9 wickets, after the Proteas team crumbled to 118 runs in the heat of the Indian spinners.
After winning the toss and asking South Africa to bat first, Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed Hashim Amla early and Quinton De Kock went to a spinner again.
The South Africa batting crumbled under the mastery of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Chahal picked his first five-wicket haul in ODIs – 5/22 and Kuldeep picked 3/20. South Africa was dismissed to their lowest ODI total (118) in the absence of experienced players AB De Villiers and Faf Du Plessis.
India chased down the target comfortably with 9 wickets in hand as Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli added 93 runs for the second wicket; Dhawan remained unbeaten on 51 and Kohli on 46.

This is a special win. This is what you call, Raund daala. South Africa might find it difficult to heal from the manner of today’s defeat. Well done Chahal. Best wishes for the remaining 4 matches. #INDvSA

This is the only 2nd time India have managed to win successive ODI games against the home side in South Africa, since winning their ODI games @ Jo'burg and Cape Town in January 2011.#SAvInd

India beat South Africa with 177 balls to spare – their biggest ODI win ever vs a Test-playing side outside India.
Also, South Africa's biggest ever defeat at home (in terms of balls to spare).#SAvIND #INDvSA— Rajneesh Gupta (@rgcricket) February 4, 2018

Congratulations India in a resounding win. Not many teams can outplay South Africa in South Africa the way we did. @yuzi_chahal was simply outstanding and ably supported by @imkuldeep18 #SAvIND

India haven’t beaten South Africa. This one is a thrashing. After the third test victory the body language has been so positive. Superb performances by @yuzi_chahal and @imkuldeep18 #INDvSA
