India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya was not impressed by the fielding effort of Jaydev Unadkat during the 2nd T20 international against South Africa in Centurion. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also said few words to the left-arm medium pacer.
The incident happened in the 12th over of the South African innings. It was the last ball of Pandya’s third over when the Proteas skipper JP Duminy played the ball towards the deep square boundary. Unadkat charged the ball and released it as fast as he could. Pandya was not at all impressed by the effort of Unadkat and banged the ball in the surface to show his disappointment.
However, it can be clearly seen that Unadkar tried his very best to release the ball and from nowhere it was the fielder’s fault. Also, the commentators were heard saying that it was Pandya’s frustration of leaking runs that made him do that.
