England women cricketer Danielle Wyatt has never been short of words when it comes to talk about India. Wyatt, who is one of the key members of England Women’s team, recently posted another update on the social media expressing her excitement to be named in the squad that will be touring the cricket crazy nation next week.
England Cricket has announced the squad for the limited over series to be played in India starting from March 22. And the 26-year-old returns to the country where she made her International debut back in 2010.
The two sides will be joined by Australia for a tri-nations T20I tournament before England take on India in three 50-over contests.
Wyatt, who plays her county cricket for Sussex, heads on tour on the back of creating history in her last innings for England. Her century in the T20 Ashes victory over Australia in Canberra in November was the first century scored by an England Women’s cricketer in the shortest form of the game.
Well, the young all-rounder could not stop herself from showing her excitement after being named in the squad which has Heather Knight as the captain. She posted an update on Twitter, which read, “Can’t wait to fly out to India next week & get back out there with the girls! 🏏 🇮🇳✈️ One of my favourite places to play 😄”
