Journalist asked Mayanti Langer if MS Dhoni was wearing a Dinesh Karthik mask against Bangladesh; here’s what she replied

Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Kathik is all over social media after his swashbuckling performance against Bangladesh in the Nidahas Trophy 2018 final.

Karthik completely changed the away going game into India’s favour with his 29 runs knock off just 8 deliveries including 2 fours and 3 sixes.

When the 32-year-old came to bat, the situation was really tough for India as the Men in Blue needed 34 runs in 2 overs. But still, Karthik managed to bring a storm on the pitch and broke the heart of every Bangladeshi fan by hitting a six on the last ball of the 20th over to achieve the target.

Not just common people but celebrities are also going gaga over Dinesh Karthik and one such celeb is Mayanti Langer. Every person who watches cricket or football on Star Sports will be knowing Mayanti, irrespective of the fact which team he/she supports.

Mayanti, who is married to Indian cricketer Stuart Binny, is a renowned sports anchor and has hosted several ICC events and football leagues.

This is what the gorgeous diva said when she was asked to comment on Dinesh’s performance in the finals of Nidahas trophy.

“DK has been in some unbelievable form right now. The match changed in a matter of some six to eight deliveries. It took some superhuman stuff. We were really excited to see that.”

When the journalist asked whether she also thought that Dhoni was playing with a mask of Dinesh, she laughed and said,

“Tamil Nadu boy Vijay Shankar was also there facing the heat. But it was nice to see Karthik work it out from the other end.”

Well, the pretty lady has a great sense of wit too!
