South Africa’s Dean Elgar took one of the greatest catches you will ever see at the Wanderers on Sunday to dismiss Australian skipper Tim Paine in the fourth Test.
Truth be told, you will find it hard to watch a better effort than the sprinting, diving catch from Elgar.
Paine skied a chance off Keshav Maharaj, sailing well over Elgar’s head at mid-off.
But the Proteas star refused to give up on the chance, turned around and sprinted while looking over his shoulder to track the ball above his head.
With all hope seemingly lost, Elgar put in a full-length dive at last— snaffling it in both hands holding a truly unbelievable catch.
