Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik led by example in an IPL encounter against Rajasthan Royals with his lightning reactions to stump opposition skipper Ajinkya Rahane.
The KKR wicketkeeper rushed to his left and back-flicked the ball onto the stumps with his right hand after Rahane had danced down the track to spinner Nitish Rana in the 7th over of the Royals’ innings.
As Rahane advanced down the track looking to accelerate the RR run-rate, the ball hit his pads and went sideways. Karthik, aware of the opportunity, quickly grabbed the ball and hit the stumps in the blink of an eye. Rahane was left stunned seeing the wicket-keeper’s swiftness and had no choice but to head back to the pavilion.
