Sunrisers Hyderabad cruised to their third win on the trot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 as they beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 11 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday.
RR lost Rahul Tripathi early on but Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane stitched a fifty partnership. However, the men in orange found a way back into the match as they picked up wickets regularly.
Skipper Rahane was the lone hope for the hosts but Kane Williamson and Co. held their nerves to continue their winning run.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to SRH’s win over RR:
It’s always good catching up with the very very special @VVSLaxman281. Congratulations on the third victory in a row @SunRisers #RRvSRH pic.twitter.com/YfSDj8E66T

Not Once, Not Twice but Thrice!!! The @SunRisers bowlers have been defending targets with ridiculous ease. When the fielding unit steps up to back and compliment the bowling front results tend to work your way. Brilliant!! #RRvSRH

Yes we are no 1 🕺🏻🎤 @SunRisers @Redfmhyderabad 😍🙏🏻

Another jailbreak win for Sunrisers Hyderabad… Bowling wins you T20 matches and they clearly have an attack to do it again and again. Best in this season! #IPL2018 #RRvSRH

Another clinical performance by the bowlers. Good to keep the momentum going. Good knocks by Alex Hales and Kane. Hope to carry on this momentum which is so important in this format. #SRHvRR

More than just a win. This bowling unit is something special regardless of who gets picked. Hats off to the leadership of Kane Williamson too. #SRHvRR #VIVOIPL https://t.co/tckvw04Ldl

SRH last 3 games
Scored 118 and defended

Rahane is the first opener to have 2 unbeaten 50+ scores in unsuccessful chases in IPL.
He scored 84* (63/9 v DD in a chase of 153 and lost by 1 run in 2012 and 65* off 53 today in chase of 152 and lost by 11 runs.#RRvSRH

This SRH bowling unit is inculcating some bad habits in their batsmen. Don't matter what you score, we got it 😉😄👏👏#VivoIPL

I love Ajinkya Rahane, but if you bat through chasing 151, you ought to take your side over the line. 65 not out off 53 balls isn't good enough in T20

You know whats the biggest scam ever in india……
"Ajinkya Rahane as aT20 player…."— Bhosale Shashikant (@Bhosale_shashi) April 29, 2018
Ajinkya Rahane is behaving as if he is Dhoni or ABD that he can score 30+ of the last two overs.#RRvSRH #SRHvRR #IPL2018
