Rohit Sharma was invited by Major League Baseball club ‘Seattle Mariners’ to throw the ceremonial ‘First Pitch’. Sadly for the star Indian batsman, though, his throw wasn’t quite on the mark.
Rohit is on a 3-city US tour along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh as part of ‘Desh-Legends of Cricket Series’.
Rohit, who is the first Indian cricketer to be given the honour of throwing the ‘First Pitch’, took his time to steady his base before going for it. But that had little bearing on the outcome as his throw went well off the mark, comfortably going over the head of the catcher.
