Cameron White was hit with a high full-toss by Billy Stanlake during Victoria’s clash with Queensland in the JLT Cup.
It was a shocking delivery from Stanlake who is known for bowling with a speed of upto 150kmph. The ball slipped from his hands and directly landed into White’s helmet leaving him stunned. He bowled a beamer towards the batsman which hit him on the helmet as he went down to the ground.
Thankfully, White survived the scary delivery and was given the permission by the physios to continue his innings.
However, the accidental beamer did seem to have taken a toll on White as he couldn’t bat on for long and was dismissed by Jack Wildermuth after being caught by Chris Lynn. The blow appeared dangerous at the time he was hit as it appeared like he had been hit on his throat. But White copped with the vicious full-toss.
