WATCH: MS Dhoni gets out for a duck against Hong Kong; fans go crazy

During the fourth match of the ongoing Asia Cup between India and Hong Kong in Dubai, wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni got out for a duck.

Dhoni’s dismissal became a sign of despair for his fans as they were seen disgusted after the former Indian skipper got out. With India set to play Pakistan at the same venue on Wednesday, Dhoni was expected to bat throughout the Indian innings.

Dhoni had come out to bat at number 5 in the 41st over when Shikhar Dhawan got out after scoring his 14th ODI century.

After facing few deliveries, Dhoni tried to play a ball with soft hands towards the off-side. However, the ball ended up taking his edge and went straight into the hands of wicket-keeper Scott McKechnie off Ehsan Khan’s bowling.

Ehsan was also seen kissing the ground after dismissing Dhoni for a duck.

Among the spectators, a young boy wearing an Indian jersey with Dhoni written behind it was seen banging his head on the chair he was sitting on, a gesture which clearly signifies the significance which the former Indian captain has in the hearts of people.
