WATCH: Virat Kohli jumps with joy after successful DRS call

When it comes to DRS, usually former India captain MS Dhoni gets it right. But sadly he only plays in the limited overs format. Now, while India is currently competing with Windies in the second Test match at the Rajiv Gandhi Uppal Stadium, Virat Kohli was spot on in his DRS call.

On Day 1 of the second Test in Hyderabad, the Indian skipper had a chance to undo his ordinary DRS record in longest format of the game. It was in the 60th over of the first innings when Windies wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich was hit on the pads by an inswinger from speedster Umesh Yadav. The bowler made a confident appeal but seeing the umpire not convinced, Kohli went upstairs for a DRS appeal.

The TV replays suggested that the ball pitched in line and would have crashed onto the stumps. When the decision came in India’s favour, Kohli couldn’t hide his excitement and jumped with joy while the rest of the team members also joined the celebrations.
