Virat Kohli celebrated his 30th birthday on Monday. The poster boy of Indian cricket continues to entertain, break records at will and set examples for others.
In the last one year, Kohli scaled new heights on the cricket field. He is the top-ranked batsman in both Tests and ODIs currently that clearly justifies his status of being the best batsman in the world.
Kohli has been rested from the ongoing T20I series against the Windies and therefore his teammates were unable to carry on with their cake smearing session, something of a tradition for the Indian cricket team.
Meanwhile, the South African superstar AB de Villiers has spared time to wish the Indian Superman on the occasion of his birthday.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vice-captain took to Twitter to wish his friend and teammate in the best possible way.
Here’s what ABD tweeted:
The big 30! Happy bday my friend. Hope it’s one very special day🎉@imVkohli

While Kohli is currently spending some quality time away from the game, De Villiers has signed a few T20 contracts and will be in the action during the inaugural edition of Mzansi Super League (MSL) which is all set to commence on November 1. He will also be in the action during the Pakistan Super League and then in the Indian Premier League next year.
