On day 3 of the 1st test match, Australian spinner Nathan Lyon achieved a unique milestone. Lyon ended up picking Kohli’s wicket for the 6th time in test cricket, most by any bowler.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli didn’t do well with the bat during the 1st inning, scoring just 3 runs. But in the second inning, Kohli had a good start and looked solid. He was batting at a score of 34 runs before his inning was cut short by Nathan Lyon in the 57th over.
The ball landed in the rough, touched Kohli’s gloves before hitting the pads. It was a simple catch for Finch who was fielding at short-leg. Kohli and Pujara had a partnership of 71 runs for the 3rd wicket. It was the 3rd wicket of the match for Lyon.
STUMPS! India 3/151 and a lead of 166.
