On the opening day of the third Test at the MCG in Melbourne, Australian pacer Mitchell Starc shared a laugh with Indian captain Virat Kohli when a good length bouncer from him bounced above Tim Paine’s head for a bye four.
Having the new ball in hand during the final session, Starc was breathing fire and was causing troubles to well-settled Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara in the middle.
The Aussie speedster got the first delivery of the 87th over to sharply come in to beat Kohli’s defence on the inside and hit the front pad flap. Perplexed by that, Kohli tried driving the next delivery against a ball that held its line straight through but ended up edging to wicketkeeper Tim Paine, who dropped the chance, to give his counterpart a lifeline.
Then, in the next delivery, Starc made a howler. He bowled a full-pitched bouncer, which Kohli decided to leave. But the ball bounced too much, taking everyone by surprise and giving India four byes runs.
The moment brought a chuckle on Starc’s face as he laughed over his error. Kohli, on the other hand, was left impressed by Starc’s ability to produce so much bounce on a flat pitch and gave a grin as well.

That has done PLENTY!
