WATCH: Alex Carey gets run-out after comedy of errors during a Big Bash League match

A comedy of errors occurred during a Big Bash League (BBL|08) match between the Adelaide Strikers and the Perth Scorchers as both sides made a series of mistakes before eventually running out batsman Alex Carey.

Batting first against the Scorchers in Perth, Carey drove to mid on in the 10th over. A mix-up with Jonathan Wells meant a yes-no shout from the duo. Ashton Turner had a shy at the non-striker’s end but missed.

Nathan Coulter-Nile while backing up went at the same end but as Jonathan got back in the crease, Carey continued running. It came to Turner, once again, and this time he threw it at the striker’s end with wicketkeeper Josh Inglis whipping the bails off in a flash.
