Cheteshwar Pujara is giving everyone a lesson ‘how to bat in Test cricket’ through the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series between Australia and India.
On Thursday, Pujara scored another century – his third of the series- and remained unbeaten on 130 as India finished the first day of the fourth Test in Sydney at 303 for 4.
The right-hander made a century in the first innings of the Adelaide Test and then struck another in the third match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). It seems the Aussie bowlers are getting tired of seeing Pujara playing these long innings.
As Pujara got to his 18th Test century on day one of the Sydney Test, Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon cheekily walked past him and asked whether he was bored yet. Lyon was caught on the stump mic as saying, “Aren’t you bored yet?”
Pujara just smiled at Lyon’s comment.
