In the first ODI of the three-match series against Australia at the SCG, Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma took a sharp catch at first slip to dismiss his counterpart, Alex Carey.
It was the 10th over of the match when the Australia opener attempted to cut the ball which was close to his body. But, the left-hander could only get an outside edge.
Infact, the ball traveled pretty fast towards the first slip, Rohit was attentive enough to grab it with both the hands.
Therefore, Kuldeep Yadav was able to strike on the fifth ball of his first over to send Carey back into the hut. The Aussie vice-captain scored 24 runs off 31 balls with the help of five boundaries.
