India comprehensively sealed the ODI series against New Zealand by winning the fifth and final ODI in Hamilton by 35 runs.
With the series result of 4-1 in their favour, India claimed the biggest win on the New Zealand soil. And Shikhar Dhawan’s dance made this even more special.
Dhawan, in his traditional ‘bhangra’ style, celebrated the win on the ground itself.
After the match, Dhawan was walking around the ground before he stopped mid-way and noticed that Team India’s fan group “Bharat Army” was playing the drum. The Indian opener then couldn’t resist himself and started to dance on beats of Bharat Army’s drum. He even finished the dance with his unique thigh-slap celebration.
Dhawan’s dance has gone viral since then and has won many hearts.
