WATCH: Rob Key bowled over by Ben Stokes’ handstand in St Lucia

England’s victory in St Lucia ensured that they avoided a series whitewash against Windies for the first time since 1986, when David Gower’s side were beaten by 5-0.

There were a lot of spectacular performances in the three-match Test series like Jason Holder’s record-breaking double century, Kemar Roach’s match-winning eight-wicket wicket-haul or Mark Wood’s five-for on Test comeback. But former England batsman Rob Key placed Ben Stokes‘ handstand on Day 4 of the third Test above everything.

Stokes played a key role in his side’s consolation win in the third Test scoring crucial runs in both innings.

The southpaw, in fact, top scored for England in the first innings with a patient 79, rescuing his side from a precarious 107 for 4. His innings helped the visitors post 277 in the first innings that set the platform for England’s 232-run win.

In the second innings, when England needed some quick runs to give their bowlers enough time to bowl out the Windies, Stokes scored a quick-fire 48.

Jason Holden & Co., however, clinched the series 2-1.
