The first-ever Virtual Reality cricket tournament, iB Cricket Super Over League, is all set to enthral fans across the globe.
The iB Cricket Super Over League will get underway on March 15. The league phase of the highly-anticipated competition will end on March 30 before the playoffs begin on April 6. The grand finale will take place on April 21.
The league will be streamed on Viu app and on their YouTube channel from mid-March.
Details of iB Cricket Super Over League
The upcoming league will have a total of 12 matches played between 4 teams and only two players will compete with each other in a super over match. 12 star-cricketers will take part in it in a Round-Robin format.
Each player will compete with the player from another team. Likewise, the three players of one team compete with three players from 3 different teams. Every team will play 3 matches, thus totalling the number to 6 matches.
The team at the bottom of the points table will be eliminated and the table-topper will be through to the final straightaway. The remaining two teams will have to play against each other in the qualifiers in 3 matches, and the table-topper in the qualifier round face off with the initial table-topper in 3 matches.
