Sunrisers Hyderabad were the runners-up in the last IPL season. The team is known for their brilliant bowling attack, with players like Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Siddarth Kaul. The franchise bagged wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Shaha for INR 1.20 crore during the auctions last year. Other key additions include Jonathan Bairstow, Martin Guptill, and Shakib al Hasan.

After missing the last season, Australian left-hander batsman David Warner is back in the squad. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson will lead the SRH franchise for the second year. Apart from his impressive captaincy, he also won the Orange cap by scoring a total of 735 runs with an average of 52.50 in IPL 2018.
