During the ninth match of the IPL 2019 between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, the local hero Mandeep Singh displayed his superb acrobatic skills to save a certain boundary.
This all happened in the sixth over of Mumbai’s innings. Suryakumar Yadav smashed two consecutive boundaries of Punjab pacer Hardus Viljoen’s fourth and fifth delivery. He almost hit the sixth and final ball for a boundary as well. But Mandeep had different intentions as he stopped the ball from reaching the boundary with his brilliant effort.
The 27-year-old tried keeping the ball in with his first dive but the ball was still rolling as he went across the rope. Mandeep then dived from outside the boundary to keep the ball away from the rope.
His acrobatic skills were appreciated by the cricket fans and commentators present at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali.

Meanwhile, KXIP easily chased the 177-run target set by Mumbai Indians, thanks to the controlled 71 run knock from KL Rahul and some aggressive cameos from Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal.
