Delhi Capitals (DC) got back to the winning ways by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders (DC) in a thrilling Super Over after the IPL 2019 Match 10 ended in a tie.
After 40 overs of the exhilarating display, both teams were tied at a score of 185. Batting first, Delhi scored 10 for 1 in the super over.
In reply, the Knight Riders started well with Andre Russell dispatching Kagiso Rabada for a four on the first ball. However, Rabada bowled a dot delivery before castling Russell and then went on to defend the total.
Earlier, while chasing 186 runs to win, 19-year-old Prithvi Shaw batted exceptionally well and scored 99 runs off just 55 balls. Though he missed out on his maiden hundred in the cash-rich league he guided his team to reach the set target.

4 brilliant Yorkers from @KagisoRabada25. The ball to dismiss Russell will make any fast bowler Super proud. Let's not forget the field placement that saved 3 runs off the 5th ball for the @DelhiCapitals. One of the game changing moments in the Super Over for me #DCvKKR

What a game! I thought Prasidh Krishna bowled an excellent over for KKR but the class of Kagiso Rabada was there to see.

Top innings from young Prithvi Shaw. You could say he missed a century but the fact is that he has played a fabulous match winning innings.

Unbelievable match! Defending 10-11 runs in a Super Over extremely difficult. Rabada pulled it off with a degree of ease. All told, KKR ledt to regret poor top order batting. For Delhi, quite a few heroes, among them tall and rangy Rabada and pint-sized @PrithviShaw!
