IPL 2019: WATCH – Rashid Khan teases Umesh Yadav before running him out (SRH vs RCB)

On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore faced their worst defeat of the tournament, playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Losing the first 3 matches of this season, they are now at the bottom of the ‘IPL Points Table’.

Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Jonny Bairstow (114 runs off 56 balls) and David Warner (100 runs off 55 balls) stole the show, hitting quick-fire centuries and breaking the record for highest opening stand in the tournament (185 runs for the first wicket).

Chasing a target of 232 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost few early wickets and at one stage were 35/6. The team only managed to reach a score of 113, losing the match by 118 runs.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mohammad Nabi bowled a dream spell taking 4 wickets giving just 11 runs in his quota of 4 overs.

Three of the RCB batsmen got run-out during the game, including pacer Umesh Yadav. Umesh was at the non-striker’s end when Grandhomme chipped the ball away towards sweeper cover. Grandhomme went for a second run, but Umesh was busy looking at the ball.

Vijay Shankar threw the ball towards the bowling end and Rashid Khan took his time to dislodge the bails and Umesh was found nowhere in the frame.
