When Virat Kohli was desperate to meet England woman cricketer Sarah Taylor at 5 AM

Indian talisman Virat Kohli has emerged as one of the sought after cricketers across the world. However, on his way to the top, Kohli wanted to meet England Women’s Cricket team wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor, whose brilliance behind the stumps eye-catching.

Kohli is currently the top-ranked ODI batsman and will lead India in the upcoming ICC World Cup. Fans and former Indian cricketers have their hopes pinned on him to bring the third World Cup title to the country. Currently, he is plying his trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Recently, Sarah Taylor’s teammate Kate Cross made an interesting revelation about the Indian skipper. Back in the days, Kohli was quite a player off the field with girls as well. He has been linked to several girls. He finally married the love of his life, Anushka Sharma at the Borgo Finocchieto in Italy on December 11, 2017.

On Twitter, the English medium-pacer Cross wrote, “5 years ago since @imVkohli wanted to meet you @Sarah_Taylor30!!”

Cross also shared a picture of Kohli with England women cricketers. Sarah responded to the tweet and wrote, “it was one of the most bizarre wake-up calls she ever had for a 5 am breakfast..”

Taylor averages over 39 in ODIs with seven centuries and 19 half-centuries under her belt. She also played against India during her team’s ODI tour in February 2019.
