Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma broke into impromptu dance on the field after taking a sharp catch at second slip to dismiss South Africa opener Hashim Amla in the ICC World Cup 2019 clash at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Wednesday.
It was a beautifully set-up dismissal where the bowler’s line and length combined perfectly with the field setting, deployed in anticipation of the opposition batsman’s shot. If Jasprit Bumrah’s early breakthrough got the Indian fans on the edge of their seats, Rohit’s unique celebration after taking the catch doubled the fun.
