During the twelfth match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, England speedster Jofra Archer troubled the Bangladeshi openers with his brutal pace and consistent length before dismissing Soumya Sarkar with an absolute peach of delivery.
Chasing 387 to win, Tamim Iqbal played out a maiden in Archer’s first over but when Sarkar faced the Caribbean-born cricketer, something unexpected happened.
It all happened in the fourth over when a 143 kph length delivery from Archer jagged back a bit to hit the top of off-stump. Sarkar went for a drive and left a big gap between his bat and pads to get castled. However, the thing which surprised everyone was the way the ball travelled after after clipping the bails of the stump. It actually flew away to the boundary rope over wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow’s head.
As Archer and other England players celebrated the dismissal, the cameras slowly zoomed in towards the ball as it went for a ‘six’ after hitting the bails.

Earlier, England opener Jason Roy slammed a century after his side was put into bat first; also Jos Buttler accelerated in the middle overs. The lower-order provided the final flourish as the Englishmen scored 386 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs.
