CWC 2019: Virat Kohli’s gesture for 87-year old superfan Charulata Patel leaves Bollywood stars awestruck

India’s win over Bangladesh on Tuesday saw them qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. And while one would think that the players would be excited to celebrate, captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma took time out to meet the 87-year old superfan, Charulata Patel, present at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.

Kohli also shared the picture with Team India’s superfan on his Instagram and wrote: “Also would like to thank all our fans for all the love and support and especially Charulata Patel ji. She’s 87 and probably one of the most passionate and dedicated fans I’ve ever seen. Age is just a number, passion takes you leaps and bounds. With her blessings, on to the next one.”

Popular Bollywood stars Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Diana Penty, Esha Gupta among others reacted to Kohli’s post and dropped in love on the Indian skipper’s gesture.
