Veteran Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who retired from international cricket last month, is all set to entertain the fans with his dazzling batting display in the second edition of Global Canada T20 League, starting July 25.
Just a week after his retirement, Yuvraj was picked in the draft of GT20 League as a marquee player by Toronto Nationals.
Ahead of his team’s opening match against Vancouver Knights, Yuvi took to Twitter and wrote: “Hello Toronto, I am here and can’t wait to see you all at the CAA Centre, @CityBrampton of #GT2019 @TorontoNational vs @VKnights_ Let’s hit some sixes in the @GT20Canada”.
In his tweet, Yuvraj also tagged the Windies swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle, who will represent the Knights in the showpiece tournament. The former Indian all-rounder asked the Universe Boss if he is looking to smash sixes as well.

The second season of the Global T20 Canada is starting a bit late compared to last year because of the ICC Cricket World Cup which ended on July 14. A total of 22 matches will be played in the tournament and the final will be held on August 11.
Players from all over the world are participating in the tournament with the focus more on players from Canada, United States, United Arab Emirates, and other associate nations.
