Virat Kohli, on Monday, took to Twitter to share a picture with the West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards who had time and again praised the Indian skipper.
Two-time World Cup winner and a stalwart of the game, Viv Richards posed for the shutterbugs with Kohli.
Kohli captioned the pic, “With the biggest BOSS!”.

Richards had earlier said that Kohli’s aggressive approach to the game was what he himself could relate to as a player.
“Kohli is aggressive. I am a big fan of him. I like good batsman and good aggression. And I like the fact that someone can play Australia like that. I think Virat Kohli is going to give it back to Australia this time. Virat is special and I like that game.”
“I also played the same game. Can you imagine Viv and Virat playing in the same team?” Richards had said.
The former batsman scored 8540 runs in 121 Test matches. In One-Day Internationals, he played 187 matches and amassed 6721 runs.
Richards was a part of the 1975 and 1979 World Cup-winning squad. He was 138 not out in the 1979 final. He was also included in the 1983 World Cup team that stood second after their loss to India in the final.
On the other hand, Kohli has played 77 Tests and 236 ODIs so far. The run machine and chase master aggregated 6613 runs in Tests at 53.76, while his 11286 quickfire runs came at 59.40 in ODIs.
He also achieved the rare feat of being the fastest batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODIs.
With 41 ODI tons, he currently holds the second position in the elite list, just 11 tons short of Sachin Tendulkar. In Test cricket, he already has 25 centuries, with Richards having made 24 hundreds in his entire career.
Meanwhile, the Kohli-led India is currently leading the ongoing 3-match T20I series against West Indies by 2-0 and will look to seal it in style on Tuesday (August 6).
