With several on-field records under his name, ‘God of Cricket‘ Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket in 2013. The legend recently achieved a new milestone, but this time off the field.
The ‘Master Blaster’ now has more than 30 million followers on Twitter, and now ranks 53rd in the list of most followed celebrities on the platform.
Among cricketers, Sachin ranks 2nd after current Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has around 31 million followers.
On Friday, Sachin posted a tweet to thank all his fans for their love and support. He wrote, “So so happy with all the and support shown by each and everyone of you over the years. Our Family is now 30M strong. Thank You!”

In the list of most-followed Indians, Sachin ranks 7th with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the top (over 49 million followers).
Last month, the star cricketer was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. along with South African legend Allan Donald.
