India captain Virat Kohli took a stunning one-handed diving catch to remove his South African counterpart Quinton de Kock in the second T20I on Wednesday.
De Kock looked in fine touch as he smashed the Indian bowlers all around the park to notch up a brilliant 52 off 37 balls before Kohli’s magnificent effort ensured that the southpaw was back into the hut.
It was Navdeep Saini who got the breakthrough for India in the 13th over after De Kock played a pull shot on a shortish delivery mistiming it for Kohli to run towards his left and pull off a stunner.
The dismissal completely changed the game as South Africa struggled to get any sort of momentum into their innings after that. The Proteas finally ended their innings at 149/5.
