Netizens troll Rohit Sharma after he bags a second-ball duck in practice match against South Africa

Rohit Sharma, who is leading the Board President’s XI against South Africa, had a horrendous start as an opening batsman in red-ball cricket on Saturday.

On the third and final day of the ongoing practice match at Dr PVG Raju ACA Sports Complex in Vizianagaram, Rohit came out to open the innings with Mayank Agarwal but his stay at the crease lasted for just two balls.

In the second over of the innings, Rohit was caught by Heinrich Klaasen on the bowling of Vernon Philander.

Earlier, South Africa declared their first innings at 279/6 as soon as Philander fell 2 short of a well-deserved half-century. Temba Bavuma remained unbeaten on 87 off 127 balls and must be high on confidence ahead of the 3-Test series next month.

After Rohit’s dismal show with the bat in the practice game, netizens started trolling the 32-year-old.
