The play was stopped due to bad light on the opening day of the third Test between India and South Africa at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. In 58 overs of play, India reached 224/3 as Rohit Sharma smashed his third century of the tournament.
Rohit completed his fifty in 86 balls, but he scored the next 50 runs in just 48 balls. He also surpassed England all-rounder Ben Stokes (15) to hit the most number of sixes in 2019.
It is raining now and very dark. Will be surprised if we get more play today.
